The vertical post has an adjustable swivel foot that when properly set, rests slightly off the floor so the spring loaded hinge allows it to swing in towards the wall as you put pressure against it with a mop or other cleaning device. The hinge then springs the vertical support back to its original position ready to handle anyone weighing up to 1000 pounds. When properly installed, toilets are designed to deflect 3/8 of an inch down when sit on which sets the non-skid swivel foot firm against the floor giving the desired support.

Your building may have more than one Manufacturer and/or model of a particular Manufacturer on the same floor. WARRANTY INFORMATION:  
The manufacturer will exchange any of its Wall Mounted Toilet Supports that have failed due to a manufacturing defect or breakage due to normal usage free of charge. We are not, nor shall we ever be responsible for cosmetic "dings or nicks" in the finish (paint) due to usage, nor any corrosion of effected areas. Customer must include our "Return Authorization Number" in order to receive warranty. Customer agrees to pay all shipping costs.
